I switched back to 1920x1080 and interestingly I felt like I was playing better on the T side. I ran it so that I used 1280x960 first for five runs, and then 1920x1080 for the next ten runs, and then finally another five with 1280x960, to try and remove any warm up bias. Yeah, models appear larger and the FPS improvement is pretty huge, but you lose so much FOV that I can't personally justify it, considering my PC is powerful enough to do 1080p at 300+ FPS.
